Mug & Spoon’s prize-winning Blackout Milkshake

(Makes one 18–20-ounce milkshake.)

Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces of milk (you want a thick shake)
  • 485 grams (up to six scoops) of milk chocolate ice cream from Woodside Farm Creamery
  • 1/4 cup of crushed Oreos
  • Waffle cone or pieces of a pizzelle cookie
  • Chocolate-chip brownie of your choice (Mug & Spoon uses Ghirardelli)
  • Whipped cream to taste
  • 1–2 ounces of M&Ms
  • 2 Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • Hershey’s chocolate syrup to taste

Directions:

Blend milk, Oreos and ice cream; pour into a glass or mug. (Mug & Spoon pours the mixture into a 16-ounce mug so that it overflows.) Garnish with waffle cone or pizzelle cookie pieces.

Warm a chocolate-chip brownie for 20–30 seconds; add it to the top of the milkshake. Garnish with whipped cream and M&Ms. Put a straw through one Reese’s cup and use the other for a garnish. Drizzle with lots of Hershey’s syrup.
