The Milton Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Truckin’ Tuesdays on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. The popular street food market is held 6–8 p.m. in historic downtown Milton, where there are typically eight or more food trucks and live music. The family-friendly event is free.

The 2018 Delaware State Fair kicks off on Thursday in Harrington. The Wade Shows Midway opens at 1 p.m., while country star Toby Keith will rock the Grandstand at 7:30 p.m. (Don’t worry, there are plenty of other things to do in between—pig races, helicopter rides and all of your favorite fair foods, to name a few.) Plus, a fireworks show caps off the first day.

3. SERVING ON THE MOUNT

The third Thursday of the month means it’s Twilight on the Terrace at Mt. Cuba Center. The event features live music, lawn games and opportunities to explore the center’s famous gardens at dusk. Food, beer and wine are available for purchase; this month, Pizza Capo and The Box Lunch serve as food vendors. Drinks are from Bellefonte Brewing Co. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy ($10 for adults; $5 for ages 5 and under).
