1. VANN, GO!

Friday, Aug. 3 (through Aug. 19)

Wilmington painter, illustrator and muralist Terrance Vann is curating an exhibit of more than 50 pieces of street art at the Delaware College of Art and Design in Wilmington. Vann and fellow artist Alim Smith will co-host “Local & Famous: A Celebrations of Homegrown Talent” at DCAD’s Toni & Stuart B. Young Gallery. The exhibit opens with a reception in conjunction with Friday’s Art Loop Wilmington.

2. OLDIE, BUT A GOODIE

Saturday, Aug. 4

The Lewes Historical Society will host its 55th annual Outdoor Antiques and Vintage Show at its campus along Shipcarpenter Street. In addition to high-quality antiques and unique vintage items, food and beverages will also be available for purchase. There will also be live music.

3. BEATLE JUICED

Saturday, Aug. 4

Beatlemania Now” brings the Fab Four back with its multimedia musical stage show at the Milton Theatre. A live cast will perform two shows of all of your favorite Beatles songs. The show has sold out in past years.

4. A DAY AT THE PEACH

Saturday, Aug. 4

The Wyoming Peach Festival features a parade, a puppeteer, the Wyoming Peach Festival Band and more family entertainment. Be sure to enter the peach dessert contest!

5. A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN

Saturday, Aug. 4–Sunday, Aug. 5

More than 125 artists and artisans will display and sell their work during the Rehoboth Art League’s Outdoor Fine Art and Craft Show. The event will also include great eats, music, historic tours, fun demonstrations, and a beer garden.
