Looking to get away on a budget? Wilmington's Amtrak station allows Delawareans to do just that with these fun-filled destinations less than three hours away.

One of the benefits of living in Delaware is access to some of the United States’ largest metropolitan areas. With an Amtrak station in Wilmington, a quick trip to any of these cities is accessible, inexpensive and hassle-free. Enjoy a jaunt to the nation’s capitol without the stress of D.C. traffic. Spend an evening out in Philadelphia without circling the block to find a place to park. Whether you want an effortless weekend getaway or a fun day trip, these destinations are just a quick train ride away from home.

Washington, D.C.

The nation’s capitol is only a short Amtrak ride away! For historic sight-seeing in the United States, this is a no-brainer bucket list location.
