The Best of Delaware Party is a time to eat, drink and be merry, and some of the best memories are made out on the dance floor. This year, Delaware Today will welcome Back2Life to the stage, a high-energy, eight-piece band that has been performing since 2007.
“Everything we play is a well-known hit dance song,” says Kurt Manderbach, the leader for Back2Life. The band, a favorite among weddings, charity galas and corporate events, plays everything from funk and R&B to songs from the ’80s and classic rock. “We are a multi-generational band,” says Manderbach.
Jellyroll, a consistent performer at Best of Delaware in years past, will be performing at the Democratic National Convention this year. “We always enjoyed performing at Best of Delaware. It gave our fans a chance to come see us,” says Kurt Titchenell, bandleader for Jellyroll and president of BVTLive!.
But Manderbach says he and the rest of his band mates are excited about their opportunity to perform this year. “We have heard the food and drink have always been outstanding. It will be nice to bump into people that we are familiar with and to meet some new folks.”
