“I like chef Mike and how the menu changes every week. I host trivia on Thursdays. I actually have the longest running trivia at the same place in Delaware; I’ve been doing it for 10 years.”

Local spot:

The Starboard in Dewey Beach

“It’s a cool place to hang out. They have comedy on Tuesday nights, so I go early and hang out.”

Movie:

“Sharknado” franchise

“It was just so bad it was funny. They just didn’t take themselves seriously and kept it going. People laugh when I tell them that it got kind of bad after the fourth one.”

Coolest person he’s met:

F. Murray Abraham

“He’s been in a whole lot of movies. I was in a comedy club in New York City, just sitting there, waiting to go on. This guy comes up and sits down next to me. We started talking and then I looked at him and was like, ‘You killed Mozart!’”

Inspiration:

D. L. Hughley

“I liked how he was able to do improv with the crowd. He could work the crowd really good.”

When he’s off tour, he’s probably:

Playing video games.

“I play a lot of video games. I have a nice collection of handheld electronic games—baseball, basketball and football. I have about 25 and some date back to the 70s. They all still work and are in good condition.”
