What to Do in Dewey Beach: A Day Trip Guide to the Coastal Town

This summer, travel to Delaware's waterfront town to dine, dance and drink at these local restaurants, shops and beachside destinations.

Dewey Beach, known for its vibrant nightlife and draw for younger crowds, is a charming beach town located just south of Rehoboth Beach. Nightlife by the water isn’t the only thing this small beach town has to offer, especially for those wanting a relaxing day in the sun and sand.

The beachside hotspot, which is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth Bay, offers waterside restaurants and hotels on both sides of Coastal Highway. Its unique waterside position paired with its small-town charm makes it a great place for those looking to relax.

For those looking to start the day with a creative cocktail creation, The Starboard’s cocktail menu includes unique Bloody Mary options like the Crabby Mary with lump crab meat, a candied bacon skewer, pickled green beans and an Old Bay rim.
