For 18th- and 19th-century Americans, candle-lit illuminations, sometimes known as transparencies, were used to cheer, entertain, and celebrate. Woodburn Illuminated revives that spirit each year with a festival of candlelight. Stroll the grounds, enjoy the stately historic home, listen to live performances, sip hot cocoa, make s’mores and look forward to more holiday fun.
