Organizers of one of the premier music events (OK, we’ll say it,) THE premier music event on the East Coast, has announced a lineup of talent deep enough to satiate just about every music-lover’s appetite.
From one of Generation X’s most definitive voices of alternative rock in Weezer to Mr. Rehoboth himself David Grohl and his Foo Fighters, the list of more than 100 acts performing at the four-day Firefly Music Festival is beyond impressive.
“The addition of a fourth day, along with the expansion of our festival acreage and lineup, makes this the most exciting Firefly yet,” said Greg Bostrom, festival director, in a press release Tuesday.
Two Delaware acts made this year’s bill including New Sweden and Mean Lady. Other notables include Canadian twins Tegan and Sara, Cage the Elephant, Jack Johnson, The Lumineers, Imagine Dragons, Ziggy Marley, The Arctic Monkeys, Outkast and Third Eye Blind.
General admission tickets go on sale at noon on Monday, Jan. 20.
