First State Ballet Theatre’s contribution to Delaware’s Year of the Bard Festival is a production of the comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”—a first for any Delaware ballet company. Choreographed by FSBT dancer Alex Buckner, the performance will feature all-new costumes and “very interesting music,” says the company’s Robert Grenfell. That means that, in addition to traditional music by Mendelsohn, patrons will hear new transitional music by a local deejay. That makes the dream a first in several ways. See it April 13-14 at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington. (652-5577, firststateballet.com)
