Indulge in a Night of Poetry, Music and Romance

Shakespeare nerds, this one’s for you.

Delaware Shakespeare Festival (DSF) presents two evenings of readings, songs and romance designed to woo all Shakespeare lovers this Valentine’s Day weekend at two popular new venues along Delaware’s Beer, Wine and Spirits Trail: Painted Stave Distilling and Dew Point Brewing Company. DSF actors will celebrate some of Shakespeare’s most romantic writing during this lighthearted evening that will appear in Kent County for the first time this year.

Performances begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Painted Stave, and at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at Dew Point Brewing.

Tickets cost $25 and include one drink (nonalcoholic drinks are available). The Romeo & Juliet VIP Package ($80) includes admission for two, premium seats, two drinks per person (including the night’s signature beverage) and a sonnet recited to your date by an actor before the show.
