Where will you find the music of the season? Start with The Winter Choral Concert at St. Helena’s Church in Wilmington on Dec. 10, featuring performances by Bella Voce, the Delaware Women’s Chorus, Music School Adult Jazz Choir and the St. Helena’s Church Choir. A concert by the Cathedral Choir School of Delaware Concert features works such as “African Noel,” “Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy” and “Light One Candle,” with carols including “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” and “O Come All Ye Faithful.” It happens Dec. 12 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wilmington. Brandywine Baroque welcomes the season with “The Morning” by Thomas Arne and concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, Leonardo Leo and Carlo Tessarini, with performances at the Barn at Flintwood on Dec. 11 and Dec. 13, and at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Rehoboth Beach on Dec. 12. The Mastersingers of Wilmington return to Market Street Music for a striking holiday choral performance that will warm your soul at First & Central Presbyterian Church on Dec. 12. Also at First & Central, Thursday Noontime Concerts continue to spread holiday cheer with performances by Center City Chorale and The Cartoon Christmas Trio. Christina Cultural Arts Center kicks off the holidays with the breathtaking tradition of music, dance and narration known as Carols in Color, featuring Eleone Dance Theatre, at The Grand Opera House on Dec. 13.
