Here’s Where to Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Delaware

Ring in the arrival of 2022 with New Year’s Eve festivities at restaurants, museums and more throughout the First State.

This past year has brought many ups and downs in the First State. That being said, there’s always something to look forward to in the new year. Ring in 2022 by enjoying delicious food, incredible local parties and more. Here are a few spots to celebrate in the region.  


New Year’s Eve Celebration at Caffé Gelato
90 E. Main St., Newark; 738-5811  

Caffé Gelato rings in the new year with a seven-course dinner with craft cocktails, champagne, and wine. Enjoy dishes like pan-seared day-boat scallops, filet mignon or the delicious, buttered lobster tail. Reservations start at 5 p.m. at $129 per person.  

Noon Year’s Eve at the Brandywine Zoo 
1001 N. Park Dr., Wilmington; 571-7747  

This New Year’s Eve, celebrate with a day at the zoo. The Brandywine Zoo is ringing in the new year with sparkling cider as the clock strikes noon. Running from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., this event is $5 per person and free to members.

New Year’s Eve Dinner at the Salted Rim Margarita Bar & Grille
35553 Atlantic Ave., Millville; 537-7373  

From 4-9 p.m., the Salted Rim Margarita Bar & Grille celebrates the new year with special menu items, champagne and party favors at midnight. Enjoy dishes like the tempura shrimp, stuffed lobster tail, and twin crab cakes.  

Lefty’s Alley New Year’s Eve Party
36450 Plaza Blvd., Lewes; 864-6000  

This New Year’s Eve, celebrate with Lefty’s Alley. Admission is $79 per person and includes unlimited food, bowling, laser tag, a $10 game card, a live DJ, soft drinks, and a champagne toast as the ball drops into 2022.  

2022 NYE Beach Ball Drop
Bethany Beach Boardwalk 

The Bethany Beach Ocean Suites Residence Inn by Marriott hosts its annual New Year’s Eve beach ball drop. Visit the Bethany Beach boardwalk and Hollywood St. to listen to music by DJ Silk at 10 p.m. followed by the ball drop at midnight.

New Year’s Eve by Tonic Seafood and Steak 
111 w. 11th St., Wilmington; 777-2040  

Tonic Seafood & Steak hosts an incredible New Year’s Eve party from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Party the night away with a dinner package for $150 per person or the party package for $90 per person. There will be an open bar, valet parking, a photo booth, late-night munchies and even a red carpet experience. Plus, enjoy live music by DJ Andrew Hugh.
