It’s time to celebrate Pride Month across the First State! This year, showing support for the LGBTQ+ community is as important as ever, and there are so many different ways to do just that. These events across Delaware are statements of love, support and acceptance for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Here’s where you can get loud and get proud across Delaware this month.
Delaware Pride Festival
Saturday, June 1
Celebrate Pride Month at the largest annual LGBTQ+ gathering in Delaware. The annual festival is set for Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Legislative Hall in Dover. The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public. All ages, genders and orientations are welcome to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Delaware. The day will be full of drag performances and other entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, a parade and fun for the whole family.

Rehoboth Beach Pride Proclamation & Flag Raising
Saturday, June 1
Arrive by 8:45 a.m. for this flag-raising celebration. At 9 a.m., Mayor Stan Mills will read the Pride Proclamation on behalf of the city, and guests are invited to cheer on the raising of the flag.

Pride Unbound Art Exhibit Opening Reception
Saturday, June 8
“Pride Unbound” is an immersive art exhibition dedicated to showing the diverse voices and perspectives within the LGBTQ+ community. The opening reception of this juried exhibit is on June 8 from 2-4 p.m. at CAMP Rehoboth. It’s free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their work. You can see the exhibit at CAMP Rehoboth from June 1-27. Milton Pride
Saturday, June 8
Sussex Pride partners with Milton Theatre for this outdoor festival featuring live performances, food and drink vendors and a lively Mardi Gras theme to fill the streets of Milton with the festive spirit of Mardi Gras.

Our Night Out Wilmington’s PRIDE Party
Thursday, June 20
Our Night Out is a LGBTQ+ Wilmington social group that meets meets monthly. For June, the LGBTQ+ happy hour will be held at Constitution Yards. Grab your friends, put on your most colorful outfits, have some drinks and enjoy time with this lively Wilmington group. They’ll be there from 6-9 p.m. Joining the event is free, so you’ll just pay for your food and drinks.

Pride Events at The Queen
Friday, June 21-Sunday, June 23
The Queen has three Pride-focused performances throughout the third weekend of Pride Month. Starting on Friday, June 21, enjoy a Pride-centric comedy show featuring some of the area’s funniest queer comedians. On Saturday, June 22, swing by for a festival full of music, fun and drag queens. The weekend ends with a Drag Brunch on Sunday, June 23.

Pride in the Park
Saturday, June 22
Head to Tilton Park for this Wilmington Pride event’s fifth year. Gather with your family and friends with a picnic and a blanket to enjoy games, good vibes and the LGBTQ+ community in a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere. The event is organized by Nuestras Raices Delaware to carry out its mission of promoting acceptance of minority communities including the Latino community and the LGBTQ+ community in Delaware.

Pride Day at the Brandywine Zoo
Saturday, June 22
It’s Pride Day with the animals! Wear all your rainbow gear to the zoo for a fun day of education, a scavenger hunt, story time and more. The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission for adults is $9. This family-friendly event is the perfect way for both adults and children to celebrate Pride Month.

Rockwood Pride
Saturday, June 22
Rockwood Park and Museum honors its diverse perspectives with a Pride celebration on June 22 from 3-7 p.m. Included with admission to Rockwood, the event invites locals to bring a blanket and head to the South Lawn for live music, drag entertainment, food trucks, artisan vendors and more.

Pride Night at Liquid Alchemy
Enjoy a large outdoor drag show while sipping on locally-made mead and cider and a variety of pride-themed mead and cider cocktails. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7. Enjoy 5 rounds of bingo between fabulous drag performances. Tickets are $15.
