Recruited by members of the chamber’s board of directors eight years ago, Roxane E. A. Ferguson wears many hats: She’s the business and entrepreneurial advocate for the chamber, where she facilitates marketing, communication, event and sponsorship initiatives, as well as efforts to support and promote business and economic development in southern New Castle County and the Delmarva region.

She can’t do it alone, and believes in rewarding her staff with time off, team-building sessions, lunch or other events off-site. How does she reward herself? “Attitude adjustment sessions at a local watering hole with friends or colleagues, a spa day, date night with the hubby and quality time with my kids,” she says.
