1. Delaware Children’s Museum

When it comes to spring activities for kids to get hands-on and exercise bodies and minds, the Delaware Children’s Museum in Wilmington is a no-brainer. There’s so much for your little ones to see and do at the Children’s Museum. They can learn all about structures and architecture at the Structures Exhibit or climb and play at the Kokoun Exhibit. The STEM Room is a launching pad for children to experience STEM activities and experiments, and the farm-to-table exhibit teaches them all about farming, gardening, and cooking. Plus, on the third Wednesday of each month, the museum has $2 nights to make all the activities even more accessible.

2. Lewes Tulip Celebration
Tuesday, April 1 – Wednesday, April 20
Frolicking through the many colorful tulips throughout Lewes is a great spring activity for kids in Delaware. The Tiptoe to the Tulips Map (available at the Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center and at brochure boxes around Lewes) makes it easy to lead a self-guided tulip tour. Visit various parks in this charming town and enjoy a meal at a local restaurant.

6. Strawberry Picking at Fifer’s

7. Dover Days Festival
