Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Delaware with incredible dining specials, musical acts and maybe even a pint or two of green beer.

With the luck of the Irish, Delaware is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year.

Catherine Rooney’s 

This popular restaurant in Trolly Square will be having live music Thursday and Friday while serving special lunch/dinner and breakfast menus. Catherine Rooney’s will be open at 9 a.m. March 17 with a full day of musical acts from McMark & Company, Oakwyn, Galway Guild, Benny & Bill, Fiddle Mix by Shelley B., Low Tide and Shake Shake Shake. On March 18, Catherine Rooney’s will host Jamison Celtic Rock Duo from 6-9 p.m.

Deer Park Tavern

The tavern will be serving green beer, $5 car bombs, corned beef and cabbage, Irish nachos, and ham and cabbage soup on March 17.

Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats

Get yourself in the St. Patty’s Day spirit with some classic Irish tunes. The Part Time Manager will be performing at Dogfish Head Brewpub on March 17 at 7 p.m. Enjoy a lively set of old Irish drinking songs, jigs and polkas.

Enjoy Irish-themed menu specials and drinks the week of St. Patrick’s Day. Starting on March 11 until March 18, the Newark location will offer St. Patty’s Day-themed green Irish crushes. Grain will also be serving up some other drink specials including melon mimosas, Irish margaritas and Bailey’s espresso martinis. For food specials, enjoy the beer-braised cottage pie and bangers and mash sandwich.

Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant

St. Patrick’s Day with the Hit the Bottle Boys will be at Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant in Lewes for its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration. This pub serves Irish classics such as corned beef and cabbage, beef and Guinness stew, bangers and mash and more.

Klondike Kate’s Restaurant & Saloon 

Stop in at Klondike Kate’s for soda bread grilled cheese, Irish cheddar mac and cheese, and sticky stout chicken wings. As for drink specials, the eatery will be serving lots of green beer and whiskey specials in celebration of the holiday.

McGlynn’s Pub & Restaurant

At this eatery’s various locations, enjoy green beer, corned beef and cabbage, Irish nachos and $5 car bombs for the all-day St. Patrick’s Day celebration starting at 9 a.m. McGlynn’s will have bagpipers perform from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Polly Drummond location, 8-9:30 p.m. at the People’s Plaza location and 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Dover location.

Mulligans in Middletown will have live Irish music from PJ’s Pub Tour and Fiddlemix on March 17. For food and drink, the restaurant is serving ham and cabbage and plenty of drinks with Jameson and Bailey’s Irish Cream.

If you are in the mood for a traditional Irish breakfast on St. Patrick’s Day, head over to this Smyrna pub. Starting at 9 a.m., Sheridan’s will be serving breakfast until 11 a.m. on March 17. The first 50 customers will receive a free T-shirt.
