With the luck of the Irish, Delaware is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year.
Catherine Rooney’sÂ
This popular restaurant in Trolly Square will be having live music Thursday and Friday while serving special lunch/dinner and breakfast menus. Catherine Rooney’s will be open at 9 a.m. March 17 with a full day of musical acts from McMark & Company, Oakwyn, Galway Guild, Benny & Bill, Fiddle Mix by Shelley B., Low Tide and Shake Shake Shake. On March 18, Catherine Rooney’s will host Jamison Celtic Rock Duo from 6-9 p.m.

Deer Park Tavern
The tavern will be serving green beer, $5 car bombs, corned beef and cabbage, Irish nachos, and ham and cabbage soup on March 17.
