A jack-of-all-trades may be the best job description for Sue Early, executive director of the Rehoboth Beach Film Society. “A day can run the gamut from writing a grant to replacing bulbs in a projector to interviewing candidates for employment; from writing program content to convincing filmmakers to come to Rehoboth Beach,” she says.
That work ethic is what she admired about her father. But her ability to manage it all may come from the fact that she actually knows how to juggle—”somewhat,” she laughs. Early begins the day by checking out “nature’s mood,” which makes sense since she unwinds in nature by biking or kayaking. Her secret passion would be to teach sailing.
