The folks at the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base say it is the only museum dedicated to airlift and air refueling history. The museum recently added another attraction—a gigantic C-5A Galaxy. The C5, the U.S. Air Force’s largest airlifter, can carry more cargo farther distances than any other aircraft. But there are plenty of other attractions and exhibits at the museum, including Dover Air Force Base’s former control tower and a hangar full of historic planes.
