After verging on disaster—a canceled season—the Delaware Symphony Orchestra has come back. Beginning Oct. 9, key players and maestro David Amado will resume the annual chamber series at the Hotel du Pont. The remainder of the season, except for the traditional New Year’s Eve concert of Viennese favorites, was still unscheduled at press time, but we look forward to a long and happy life for one of our favorite institutions. The chamber series continues Feb. 5, March 26 and April 30. Keep checking the Web site for updates. (656-7442, delawaresymphony.org)
