More than 100 Barbecue Masters will compete for the ultimate title of 2015 Delaware State Champion at the Triple Threat BBQ Festival.
What better way to kick off the spring than enjoying a barbecue with family and friends? The Delaware State Fairgrounds will host its second Triple Threat BBQ Festival April 10-11. Enjoy the cooking demonstrations and live music while you sample some the best professional and amateur barbecue around—there will be more than 100 Barbecue Masters competing for the title 2015 Delaware State Champion and more than $17,000 in prize money. Cooking demos at Triple Threat include a Chix, Swine & Bovine BBQ wing cooking demo presented by Mountaire Farms and a pulled pork cooking demo by Butch’s Smack Your Lips BBQ presented by Kirby and Holloway. This year also includes 16 breweries almost 50 craft beers to sampling.
Brewers at Triple Threat include Dominion Brewing Company, Evolution Craft Brewing Company, Fordham Brewing Company, Mispillion River Brewing and Yards Brewing Company. Wine enthusiasts can enjoy tasting Friday night with Fenwick Wine Cellers, Harvest Ridge, Nassau Valley Vineyards and Pizzadili Winery. It will include more than twelve wines and cost $10 for 5 samples. There will be plenty of kid friendly food and drink choices in the Food Court, as well as a petting zoo and carnival.
