The ninth annual WHYY President’s Dinner on May 17, raised $250,000 for the public media provider. Prior to the dinner, Marrazzo unveiled The Dorrance H. Hamilton Public Media Commons Hamilton, a hub of media literacy, gathering place for educators, hands-on learning environment for students and venue for performers and lecturers. Longtime NPR broadcaster Carl Kasell received the WHYY Lifelong Learning Award at the dinner.
