After being postponed in 2020, the Guest Bartender charity event raised funds for the Wilmington Flower Market for children’s education.

Over the summer, Chuck Hall—known as Delaware Chuck, named after the organization he created to raise money for charitable organizations throughout the state—hosted a Guest Bartender Event at BBC Tavern & Grille in Greenville. The evening raised funds for the Wilmington Flower Market (WFM) nonprofit, whose mission is to financially support local programs providing critical services for children. For the past century, the annual festival at Rockford Park has taken place Mother’s Day weekend, but it was canceled in 2020 and again in 2021 due to COVID-19.

Drawing dozens of Delawareans to a night of sipping, savoring, mingling and a silent auction, the BBC soirée raised over $5,000 for the Wilmington Flower Market. The organization will distribute 100 percent of the proceeds to its beneficiaries, who help enrich children’s lives by opening doors to educational opportunities.
