Wilson Somers Trio to Perform “A Jazz Christmas”

The festive concert on Dec. 3 will benefit Friendship House, Inc.

 

Emmy Award-winning jazz composer and pianist Wilson Somers will return to The Tatnall School’s Laird Performing Arts Center on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m., where his trio and other guests will perform “Jazz Christmas.”

The program will feature traditional and contemporary versions of holiday favorites, and will include performances from The Tatnall Singers as well as a special featured appearance by Annie Fitch, who formerly appeared as Mrs. Claus in New York City’s annual “Radio City Christmas Spectacular.”

The event will be presented by Mass for the Homeless, Inc., as part of its “Music With A Mission” series. Net proceeds will benefit Friendship House, Inc., a Christian nonprofit organization that serves individuals and families that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
