More than 60 people attended Draw `Til You Drop 2 this past Saturday at the Delaware College of Art and Design. DCAD’s president joined DCAD students, faculty, high school students, members of the public and established regional artists from several states in 12 hours of marathon figure drawing. The drawing marathon gave artists of all experience levels a unique opportunity to express their creativity and develop their voice in an intimate, academic setting against the backdrop of the Toni and Stuart B. Young Gallery. Ten models bathed in studio lighting assumed long and short poses. This event was inspired by the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture, which founded the Drawing Marathon 20 years ago.
