Drobinski works full time for a local nonprofit, runs a fledgling small business and cares for her 3½-year-old son, who has Type 1 diabetes. “As discouraging as life gets sometimes, I believe in being positive and taking action,” she says. So she’s working with local legislators to change laws regarding daycares and children with diabetes. Drobinski is also teaming with her sister-in-law, Faith Drobinski, to grow Sweet Birdie Boutique. They are working with a local children’s hospital to donate superhero capes to children battling life-threatening diseases.
