The ABC Delaware Diversity Committee presents an award annually to ABC member companies who embrace diversity in a variety of levels.

Diversity & Culture in the Workplace Award 2013 winner is Bancroft Construction. This award is presented to the ABC Delaware Member company that expresses the highest level of commitment to diversity and culture in their workplace including: CEO Commitment (examine the CEO’s personal involvement in diversity, how she/he holds executives accountable for diversity success and board-of-director demographics); Human Capital (includes standards/employee policies on work/life benefits and recruitment strategies, including people with disabilities, provided educational and outreach workshops on culture and diversity); and Corporate/Organizational Communications & Outreach (external factors as philanthropic contributions, multicultural marketing, website communication of diversity branding, and outreach/assistance with resource organizations involved with diversity initiatives and joint ventures initiatives with: Small BusinessEnterprise (SBE); Service Disable Vetrans; Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE); Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE); Women-Owned Business Enterprise; (WBE); Veteran and Service Disabled (VSD); 8-A; Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)).
