Best Places to Work in Delaware in 2013: SevOne, Wilmington

SevOne, a software company, provides  IT management, monitoring and reporting platforms.

Patrick Caruso, business development representative

On fostering creativity …
“Our work environment is extremely dynamic, which helps me be more innovative. We have a putt-putt golf hole, tennis ball game, two flat-screen TVs with our sales stats on them, music in the background and engaging table groupings that allow us to enjoy our workday with our coworkers.”

On teamwork …
“The configuration of our high-top tables helps us to constantly work as a team. We also have tons of opportunities for events outside of work as a team, including Frisbee, water balloon fights, amusement park days and company lunches every other week.”

On good morale and  positive culture …
“They order fruit for us every week. On payday the company picks up lunch for everyone and we eat together. During the summer, an ice cream truck comes every week and parks outside for an hour, and we can get ice cream for free.”

On rewarding accomplishments …
“There are tons of opportunities for innovative ideas. We have the ability to present them—all the way up the chain to executives by simply stopping by their office. Being able to really move the meter in a company is pretty rewarding in itself, and the company has promoted tons of people for going above and beyond in their roles.”
