Big Fish Grill in Rehoboth Serves Up Seafood for Every Taste

Forget the Styrofoam boxes of broiled, boring blah. Opt instead for Big Fish’s seafood pasta, nut-crusted tilapia and shellfish bursting with fresh flavors in a fun atmosphere.

Big Fish Grill
There was a time when no self-described seafood restaurant at the beach aspired to serve anything more than fried fish or mundane broiled combo plates. That changed when Eric and Norman Sugrue opened Big Fish in 1997. From that first summer, waiting lines wrapped around the building because Big Fish took a fresh approach to the food, offering Parmesan-crusted swordfish, pan-seared rockfish, pasta piled high with shellfish, nut-crusted tilapia, all of it served with interesting sides such as stewed lentils or risotto, all of it served in a fun and casual atmosphere. And beach-area diners could still get their broiled combos and fried flounder—still can—as well as local favorites like Maryland crab soup and crab cakes, which makes it a place for everyone. 20298 Coastal Hwy., Rehoboth Beach, 227-3474, bigfishgrill.com
