Brandywine Prime Seafood & Chops at Chadds Ford Inn: a top steak house in Delaware County, Pennsylvania

Nautical Accents: Brandywine Prime Seafood & Chops at Chadds Ford Inn

Given that this restaurant’s sibling is Deep Blue Bar & Grill in Wilmington, it’s no wonder that the oysters here are first rate, whether you want sweet and creamy or plump and briny bivalves. There are at least three kinds on any given day, and they’re served with cucumber mignonette. Patrons also praise the jumbo lump crab cocktail, served with wakame seaweed salad. Both provide the ideal start to a red meat fest that might include the 10-ounce blackened bistro cut, Barolo-braised short ribs or the 12-ounce center-cut Hereford Delmonico. All steaks come with a Cabernet reduction.

SEAFOOD ON THE SIDE
If you want to surf-and-turf it without bumping up the meal’s cost much, choose a side of pan-seared diver scallops, a jumbo lump crab cake or a grilled jumbo shrimp skewer.
