It must be pretty cool to have a mom who goes hang gliding with you, not to mention parasailing and surfing. Parker, a divorced mother of two daughters (ages 8 and 12), says she represents the modern-day version of a housewife: She works two jobs and still finds time to enjoy her kids. Up until a year ago, she was also caring for a parent with Alzheimer’s. Along with adventure sports, Parker has competed in long-distance bike rides, 5Ks and even a triathlon. “Life may not always be great,” she says, “but having fabulous friends and family have helped to get me to a point were I feel truly blessed and happy.” (Dress from Bel Boutique, Dover)
