Camp Manito Summer Camp in Wilmington and Camp Lenape in Felton, Delaware

Operated by United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware, the two camps serve children and young adults, age 3 to 21, with orthopedic disabilities. (Camps are also open to those without disabilities.) Camp Manito in Wilmington and Camp Lenape in Felton typically start the first Monday in July and run six weeks. Each camp has a pool, pavilion and playground.
Fee: $175 a week (The camp accepts Delaware’s Purchase of Care childcare subsidy, and “camper-ships” are available.)
