Comcast Cable

Of note: Comcast’s Xfinity TV line-up features hundreds of standard and high definition channels, along with access to nearly 100,000 Xfinity On Demand selections across multiple platforms. The company also provides Xfinity Internet speeds up to 505/100 Mbps, unlimited talk and text with Xfinity Voice, and the ability to watch TV and movies anytime and anywhere through innovations like the Xfinity TV GO app, which allows customers to stream 50+ live TV networks and thousands of On Demand titles on mobile devices. 

Comcast offers several Xfinity Triple Play bundles. Packages include 60 to 200-plus channels, including high definition, with prices ranging from $90 to $250 per month. These bundles include access to thousands of hours of Xfinity On Demand programming. (comcast.com, 800-COMCAST)

Mediacom Communications Corp.

Service area: Sussex County communities, including Angola by the Bay, Bayard, Bethany Beach, Clarksville, Dagsboro, Frankford, Georgetown, Leisure Point, Lewes, Love Creek, Mariner’s Cove, Middlesex, Millsboro, Millville, Ocean View, Roxana, Sea Colony, Selbyville and South Bethany.

Of note: Mediacom says its Internet service is the fastest in the area, offering download speeds of up to 105 Mbps and uploads of 10 Mbps. The company’s Family TV subscription includes 68 standard definition channels and 30 in high def. Verizon

Service area: Entire state

Of note: Verizon FiOS enables Internet speeds up to 500/100 Mbps, more than 485 TV channels and digital phone quality with 99.9 percent network reliability. Areas without FiOS have access to DirecTV and high-speed Internet service. (verizon.com, 800-VERIZON)
