If you haven’t already been to Etsy.com, go right now. Everything else can wait. For those who’ve lived sans computer and have no clue what Etsy is, it’s an online marketplace that showcases hundreds of artists. You can find just about anything on there. In my endless pursuit of the unique, I end up logging a few hours every week.
One of my newest favorites is Milford jewelry designer Holly. She creates custom photo pendants out of clay and your favorite photo. The best part is that the images are scanned and transferred from a computer file, so you don’t have to spend a second without the pic of you and your college roommate. She can do the same thing with a silhouetted image, if you have one that you love. I’m thinking that these are perfect for bridesmaid gifts.
