One question so many couples dread hearing (and answering) is this: “What are we doing for dinner?” Now, a simple app is making the dining out process simple and fun.
Spotluck, a free mobile app which launched in June 2014 with just eight restaurants and a couple hundred users in Rockville, Md., allows users to spin a wheel once per day and receive a smart incentive (between 15 and 35 percent off) to dine at one random restaurant, as well as a 10 percent loyalty discount to all of the other local restaurants. Now, more than 1,250 restaurants across Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware are offering dining deals to hungry diners.
Spotluck launched in Wilmington on July 18 and is currently partnering with 15 local restaurants, including:
- 2FatGuys American Grill
- BBC Tavern and Grill
- Cavanaugh’s Restaurant

- Chicky’s Pizza Pub

- Del Pez Mexican Gastropub – Wilmington
