When you’ve no clue what to give—but you know the recipient loves the beach—there’s always the gift card.
Kaya Wellness & Yoga, located in the Shoppes at the Pearl in Rehoboth Beach, offers gift cards that can be used toward anything, says spa manager Pete Lerza, also a massage therapist. “The customer can call, pay over the phone and it will be waiting for the guest.” Kaya, which also offers aerial yoga and hypnotherapy, is open all year. For the active person on your list, purchase a gift certificate from Coastal Kayak in Fenwick Island. It’s as easy as logging onto the Internet. “Most people email us and let us know who they want it for and the dollar amount, and we either mail them the certificate or email it back, and they print it out,” says owner Mitch Mitchell. A certificate with a specific dollar amount never expires, but certificates for a particular service—such as a lesson or an eco-tour—are good through the next season. (539-7999, c-kayak.com)
