Start college while still in high school with Delaware County Community College and Technical College High School (TCHS). Delaware County Community College boasts numerous transfer and dual enrollment agreements with high schools and major four-year colleges and universities that facilitate students’ transition to the next step in their education. Through the College’s long-standing partnership with TCHS, a public school of choice specializing in career and technical education, high school students have the opportunity to advance their education by earning college credits at greatly reduced rates from the College while enrolled at TCHS.
For example, Alexandria Tzanakis (shown far right) will transfer her 22 college credits from the TCHS Health Career Academy to Temple University to pursue her nursing degree. Ryan Burris (shown left), who graduated from the TCHS Criminal Justice & Police Sciences program as valedictorian and a college sophomore with 31 college credits, plans to join the U.S. Marine Corps and pursue a master’s degree in Intelligence Studies after completing his associate degree at the College.
