Biggest challenge: “Trying to maintain consistency with all of my pitches. Anybody can throw a good pitch every once in a while,  but to be a great pitcher you have to be able to consistently repeat those pitches. To work on it, I do mechanical drills every day and maintain complete focus on every throw that I make.”
Five years back: Playing high school baseball as a sophomore
Hopes for five years ahead: Playing Major League Baseball for the Kansas City Royals
Impressive stat: Threw 165 innings last season—a big increase from the previous year.
