If you’ve ever wondered who makes sure hospital patients get the right medications in the right amounts at the right times, meet Terri Corbo, vice president of pharmacy services at Christiana Care Health System. Board certified in pharmacotherapy, Corbo also is a fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She joined Christiana Care in 1999 as the pharmacy specialist in cardiology in 1999, moved into a medication safety role, then became director of clinical pharmacy services. In her new role, “We are re-evaluating the services we provide and how we provide them with a goal of identifying those things that are of real value to our patients,” Corbo says. “We are ever aware that resources are finite and feel a responsibility to provide services that make a difference for our patients.”
