Explore over 25 of the state’s best restaurants and food purveyors at the third annual Delaware Taco Festival this Saturday, Aug. 18.
Enjoy a tantalizing variety of tacos and specialty items, a tequila-tasting area, a frozen margarita bar, hot pepper- and taco-eating contests, and traditional bars and beverage stations serving other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
There will also be a kids’ zone featuring fun activities and lots of music (traditional rock/pop bands as well as authentic mariachi bands).
The rain-or-shine event begins at 1 p.m. (or noon for VIP ticketholders) and ends at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $9.95; VIP tickets are $49.95. Kids aged 10 and under can get in free when they accompany a paying adult. All items will work on a voucher system; vouchers can be purchased at various stations and will be used instead of cash throughout the festival. (Each taco costs $3.)
