Girl Scout Cookie Sales Have Been Extended Through April 14

If you never got around to getting Girl Scout Cookies this year or—let’s be honest—you have consumed your entire stash already—then you’re in luck. The Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay just announced that cookie sales have been extended through April 14.

To order your favorite flavor(s), visit gscb.org or digitalcookie.girlscouts.org.

Be sure to stock up on some Savannah Smiles—the zesty lemon wedge treats dusted with powdered sugar. This cookie is retiring this year.

The Girl Scout Cookie program is a financial literacy program that teaches girls the skills needed to function as an entrepreneur. Purchases contribute to the experiences girls receive in Girl Scouts.

Girls learn these five skills:

  1. Decision making
  2. Business ethics
  3. Money management
  4. Goal setting
  5. People skills
