On Thursday, Oct. 26, you may already have plans to attend happy hour with your friends or co-workers. Why not raise a glass—and some money—for Special Olympics Delaware?
Head to BBC Tavern in Greenville for its ever-popular guest bartending event, where the POLE-R Pirates will take over the bar to help raise money for the Polar Bear Plunge, an annual fundraiser that takes place in Lewes.
Ten percent of all food sales in the dining room will also go toward the cause, so stay for dinner if you can. There will be raffle items as well, including a chance to win a private wine tasting for 20 of your closest friends.
The event runs from 6–9 p.m.
