It’s been awhile, but Lord shuttled her sons (now 27 and 28) to their many activities when they were younger. Given that she also has two active daughters (11 and 13), there’s still plenty of shuttling to be done—to ballet, softball, golf, even pig shows. As if that’s not enough, Lord has worked as a hair stylist for 28 years, including the past 10 as owner of Beehive Beauty Shop in Dover. She has also served on the state Board of Cosmetology for five years and is its current president.
