Lash Out!

There’s nothing better than a good set of lashes. Unfortunately, I wasn’t blessed with a naturally stunning pair. That’s why mascara and I have developed such a torrid relationship over the years. We’ve had our ups and downs: Sure the long lashes look great on dry land, but mix in a little sweat or teary eyes and I’ve been left with black smudges, clumpy lashes and a generally abused and battered look.

But now I’m opening my door to a new relationship, one with the potential to go great lengths. I’m looking at extensions. With lash extensions you can go as natural or dramatic as you want, with no fear of streaks or black eyes. But, best of all, the look lasts for up to three weeks.

It can still be hard to find a location in Delaware that does extensions, but there are a few options. Check ‘em out below:

Lash Doctor, Barbara Linder, 893-3857

With two years of experience under her belt, Barbara is highly trained. She can do anything from a subtle look to one bursting with color or crystals. Better yet, she’ll even come out to your house for the treatment. Extensions start at $165. Look for a Lewes location in March.

Currie Hair Skin Nails Concord Pike, Glen Mills, (610) 444-1644

These guys don’t just do lash extensions, they’ll also do tint jobs. It’s a great half-step between subtle mascara and full-on extension glamour.
