Open: May-October (open full time after Memorial Day) This farm stand, which opened in 1988, comes by its name naturally. Initially, customers bought produce from two covered wagons. Although a pole building and greenhouse joined them, folks kept calling it “Little Wagon Produce.” “Farmer Dan” Vanderwende works the field with wife, Becky, and other family members.
Don’t miss: “We grow bi-color corn—which is yellow-and-white and very, very, very sweet,” says Becky Vanderwende. “It’s picked right from the fields behind the stands.”
