The Affordable Care Act has ramifications for all health care providers, even nonprofit Westside Family Healthcare. This means president and CEO Lolita A. Lopez of Middletown is working diligently to make sure the community health care system is ready to serve an influx of newly insured patients. Westside provides access to health care to 24,000 people at six locations across the state and employs 220. Lopez, a 2006 inductee into the Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame, has steered the organization since 1990.
