Given its star attraction, it’s not surprising that the park would promote fishing classes (June 11-15) and explorations of the habitat around the pond in “Pond-side Adventures” (July 23-27). “Outdoor Survival Camp” (July 20-Aug. 3) teaches ages 11-13 how to build a campfire and shelters and learn to canoe, backpack and fish.
