Nurse Practitioner | Family
Megan McNamara Williams, APRN, FNP-C, Beebe Healthcare
The most important aspect of being a family nurse practitioner is providing patient-centered care to people across their entire lifespan. A great family nurse practitioner has the capacity to provide high quality care to every patient he-she encounters and is compassionate, intelligent and holistic in approach. Nurses are the largest component of the health care workforce, and I believe that they really do put the “care” back in health care. The most rewarding aspect of my work is being able to connect with patients in a meaningful way and provide care that is truly patient-centric, with a focus on all aspects of their life, understanding that health outcomes are the result of so many life factors.
