Just like its big sister in Rehoboth, Modern Mixture Too has been a sensation in Milton. Owner Leo Cabrera’s menu of Mexican with a twist is bringing locals out in droves. Big hits include the chopped salad with nopalitos, all drizzled with a refreshing lime dressing, and Cuban sandwich. The “mixture” is created by introducing foods from beyond Cabrera’s native Mexico, such as falafel and surprising ingredients like feta cheese on a nacho plate spiced by chimichurri. The space on Federal Street is contemporary, cozy and just lively enough—fun, without overload. And we love the smoothies.
