Mona Lisa Euro Bistro and Bon Appetit: Best European Dining Experience

The homemade duck pâté appetizer.EDITORS’ PICKS, UPSTATE
Owner Jacques Macq’s Belgian nativity may give a leg up to Mona Lisa Euro Bistro, but it’s really about the food: escargots in garlicky butter, tarte flambé, cheese croquettes, beef Bourguignon, veal schnitzel, rabbit pâté—need we go on?  607 N. Lincoln St., Wilmington, 888-2201,

Thanks to Chino and Karen Pedemonte for keeping Bon Appetit real for all these years. We can’t recall the last time we saw pickled herring on a menu. Beef au poivre is all too rare, as well. Hands down, Bon Appetit is simply one of the best restaurants in Delaware ever.  312 High St., Seaford, 629-3700,

Our Best of Delaware Elimination Ballot is open through February 22!
